![]() SINGER: LE TAM
![]() ![]() I am more like a guy that really doesn't belong in the spotlight. I am still so amazed that I have so many adoring fans. I grew up in a small town in Georgia. I lived a very normal life with my mother and three sisters. I've always loved singing and I used to practice to various American artists. I've never discriminated any singers. If it's music, then I loved it. I also love sports. I wrestled and played soccer in high school, but I enjoy more relaxing activities now that I'm a little bit older. Golf is my number one past time. Singing is such a wonderful challenge. I've been with Asia for three years and it's been a great experience. I live for new music and songs. It's so amazing how words become lyrics and notes transform into music. An opportunity to sing a new song is the greatest feeling in the world. I'm so lucky that Asia has so many talented musicians to make it all possible. As for my fans, thank you so much for all your support and encouragement. You are the driving force behind everything I do. I've read so many awesome letters from you all, and I loved all of them. I hope you can support all of my fellow singers as you do me. Asia is like a family with no competitiveness between any of us, that's why I love it so much. So, if you like what we do, and you want Vietnamese artists to take the younger generation to the next level, support all of us young singers regardless of which production we're from. Art is art, and if you are a music lover, you will see that our joy in life is to entertain you. Thank you for being there. I love you all! Born in Dalat, Vietnam, I came to the States in 1979 at the age of six. My father and mother divorced when I was five in Vietnam. My father is a Lab Scientist and my mother was a teacher and poet. She later studied music and became a musician. I grew up in Tucker, Georgia. I attended high school there and one year at Georgia State University. I later moved to Miami and attended Florida Atlantic University. I'm not finished yet but I'm getting there. Singing has slowed me down a little bit, but I'm expected to be done next year. That's the reason why I don't tour as much. I'm a biology major. I also have a computer networking degree. Singing is great, but "Every man needs a backbone." My first video appearance was Asia's Hoa và Nhåc in which I sang "Where do you go" with Shayla. My first solo album is finished and is expected to be released in June 1999.
